Brands pay a flat engagement fee that we credit back through the provider at the first invoice, and we are willing to talk a brand out of a match, tell you that you are not ready, or send you to a provider we earn nothing on. Saying the hard thing costs us deals in the short run and earns us the only thing that compounds: brands that trust the advice and come back. That is why the matches hold.
